The word solstice derives from the Latin term “sol.” The summer solstice takes places exactly when the Earth’s axial tilt is most inclined towards the sun at its maximum of 23° 26'. (?????) In another words it is the longest summer day of the year. Every culture has its own interpretation of the summer solstice and it involves holidays, festivals, gatherings, rituals, or other various celebrations. Here at Seventh Chakra, with other members of our tight community, we hold our own celebration with Naam Yoga. Come join the summer solstice celebration with Seventh Chakra Yoga, some tea and snacks and experience the hidden truths of various spiritual traditions and mystery systems from both Eastern and Western practices to ultimately conceive the true nature of the divine.
